JAPANESE POPSTARS & HOT CITY COMPLETE LINEUP!

JAPANESE POPSTARS & HOT CITY COMPLETE LINEUP!

On Saturday 26th November, Lock N Load Events presents the Together Winter Music Festival at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace. Early Bird and saver tickets to the night have all gone with £35 standard tickets now on sale. Eric Prydz headlines, with his final EPIC performance this year, alongside sets from John Digweed, Pete Tong, Simian Mobile Disco (DJ set), Sander van Doorn, Death in Vegas, Fake Blood, Vitalic [Live], Fenech Soler [Live], Sebastian [Live], Maya Jane Coles and many many more.

But it doesn’t stop there. We’ve got a few more surprises to pull out the bag and we’re delighted to announce two more artists who complete the lineup right now…

THE JAPANESE POPSTARS (DJ SET)
The Japanese Popstars may have been together for just a few years, but they’ve carved out a reputation to rival the biggest names in dance music as a must-see live act and purveyor of raucous, foot-stomping, energetic electronic dance music. In the two years since their debut album 'We Just Are' dropped on Gung-Ho!, featuring the twitchy, whooshing, big room anthems ‘Sample Whore’ and ‘Delboy’s Revenge’, they’ve gone on tour the States, played in Australia, across Europe and, of course Japan – a place that’s especially taken them to their hearts. 2011 has witnessed the release of their critically acclaimed second album ‘Controlling Your Allegiance’.  This includes the amazing single, ‘Joshua’ which features Tom Smith of Editors taking over vocal duties. They have also collaborated with a diverse mix of artists, including Irish songstress Lisa Hannigan, Chicago house legend Green Velevet, and Morgan Kibby of M83.  Whilst perhaps not popstars, these ‘dancestars’ are certain to bring a star quality to the Together Winter Music Festival.

HOT CITY
Hot City are about that feeling from the heyday of rave. That feeling of hearing the DJ play a piece of vinyl hot off the presses, of recognising something about it yet knowing it's something practically nobody's ever heard before. Of mystery and pursuit and the sense of achievement that comes when you actually lay your hands on that track that takes you back to the dancefloor moment. And they are about proving that this feeling is alive and well now in the age of instant access and mass genre-pileups. As the old voice echoing through the years says, “House is a feeling.” Hot City is a feeling too. And when that feeling hits, you'll know it and you'll want to track down the source. With releases on Moshi Moshi, Infrasonics and remixes of Hot Chip, Monarchy and Crookers feat. Kelis, Hot City are an experience not to be missed when they debut at Alexandra Palace on 26th November.
